Our Story

This is our story, which begins with a very young mother and her children, enduring a turbulent journey across countless homes as a military family. Through the difficulties and upheavals, theater became our way to carve out joy and stability, offering us a sense of home no matter where we were. By opening up about these experiences, we hope our journey strikes a chord and fosters a sense of connection.

She served as Head of Springside School and then President of the merged school, Springside Chestnut Hill Academy for 19 years.  While there her most significant accomplishment was the creation of The Sands Center for Entrepreneurial Leadership which she envisioned as a new frame for educational change. In 2015 she moved to Los Angeles to become Head of Marlborough School and upon her retirement became the Interim Head of San Diego French American School.

Of course her favorite role is being a mom to three boys and one daughter, Adele Griffin
